Mario? I mean I think he's the only true mascot for any console at the moment. I guess Sega back in the day had Sonic, but I don't even know if he was a true mascot. Do the 360 and PS3 have mascots?

i have to agree with u mario is the best my favorite growing up was sonic until ps1 came out and then crash became my favorite. and 360 doesnt have a true mascot and ps3 has alot of promise for a mascot in sack boy from little big planet,who can be fully customized not to mention most think hes adorable i like all of these mascots and i want 360 to get a true mascot that appeals to all ages from kids to adults(not just a FPS) but i dont think microsoft cares to have one.

I think Master Chief is a fine mascot. (He's not really official, but it's obvious anyway) He might not "appeal to all ages", but it doesn't matter because the 360 isn't for all ages. It's for teenagers and 20-somethings.

Sony's mascot for the PS1 was Crash Bandicoot. For the PS2 it was Jax and Daxter? I'm not sure. However for the PS3 it's probably is sackboy.Superdude475
i think that ur head-on man those are the exact mascots that i think defined ps1,ps2,and ps3 (although ps2 never had a clear mascot i think that jak might have been the closest) but im sure that sackboy will have another LBP game and hopefully a spin-off series like a nice party game.
Seriously...Mario (Nintendo), Sonic (Sega), and Crash (PS1). I think Ratchet is PS2's mascot and hopefully Sackboy for PS3. I like all of them.
i like all of them as well n i guess master chief is xbox's mascot he just isnt in the same category as like crash or mario or sonic cuz they appeal to all ages.
I think I stopped caring about the idea of mascots some where round the age of 15,with super nintendo and genesis,and yes I prefered mario to sonic. I have played a lot more mario and other games with mascots if they are good games,but I really could care less about them as mascots. And people here are saying for all ages,but lets be honest,mascots are not for all ages. they are to sell a product to children. I do not care if its sports,theme parks,food,or video games,mascots are100% a marketing tool. why do you think camel cannot use joe camel anymore.
