which video game company has the best character designers

i think one of the many things that makes a great game is the character design i wanted to know what companies has the best character designers working for them.

For my tastes, I'd put Double Fine on the list for sure.

I would say Nintendo.. While the franchises are old, the characters themselves are designed quite well.

Hmm, Blizzard has some decent ones, but i think most character designers are freelancers and therefore its not that easy to pick one.

Pixar, disney, sony also have some pretty good guys.

Even though Capcom has been acting very badly with business practices and the management of its major franchises, it has some of the best characters in the video game industry.

I'd agree, Nintendo def. has some classic characters.

Probably Atlus. Kazuma Kaneko and Shigenori Soejima make some fantastic stuff.

Atlus mainly because of Shigenori Soejima. I also like the art of Tetsuya Nomura (Square Enix).

Rockstar: Max Payne, Red Dead Redemption, GTAs: stories thrive on the characters to me

2K games: Borderlands' characters crack me up

Square Enix: been some very memorable characters throughout the years

Vigil. War and Death are awesome.

In Nintendo? Not really. Unless you pay very close attention to those details.

Definitely a toss-up between Capcom and Nintendo.
