Poll What type of video game pinball do you prefer? (5 votes)

Real Pinball tables. (Pinball Arcade) 60%
Digital only pinball tables. (Zen Pinball) 40%

I quite enjoy Pinball video games, Pinbot was a lot of fun and I love me a bit of Rollerball. I want to know whether you guys prefer pinball games such as Pinball Arcade that digitally re-create pinball tables or if you prefer pinball tables that wouldn't work outside of a video game such as Zen Pinball.

I think I fall on the side of real tables, the history that comes along with it and the fact that you know its actually real just makes me appreciate it more.

Who the hell would prefer Digital pinball over REAL ONES? the only digital pinball game i remember playing is the original pinball on XP its damn nostalgic and Peggle yeah that's it but they don't match the awesome arcade pinballs.

real pinball is the only way to go. virtual pinball is a joke and i won't participate.

being in the pinball game in psychonauts is a blast, though, lol:)

@udubdawgz1: @torenojohn7: Thats being way to harsh, virtual pinball is a lot of fun, uit can do things that you wouldn't be able to have on a real pinball table. Have you not played Pinbot for the NES!

Also Peggle is not Pinball, Pinball requires flippers.

@Hizang: lol, it's not harsh at all. it's the truth and reality for me as a gamer commenting on a gaming website about my opinions. grow a set.

i've played virtual pinball games and they stink.

I like them both really. I do really enjoy having original real life pinball tables emulated in video game form but the only time I'd say that I preferred them to ones that never had a real life counter part is if I had played the original machine and that would be nostalgia kicking in. My all-time favourite pinball machine was F-14 Tomcat. I'd love to see that included in some video game compilation.
