For me it was the NES and Super Mario Bros. I had played and enjoyed the Atari 2600 prior to that, but it was SMB that made me a gamer for life.

Pong, I liked it. I didn't realize that it was home console. I realized Atari 2600 as home console. I played Combat, Superman, and Spider-Man on Atari 2600 at the hospital.

NES and Double Dragon

The jumpkick still remains the most versitile move in fighting games, right after the combo breaker.

My first system was Atari 2600, but I really got into gaming with the NES. I would blame RBI baseball, Super Dodgeball, and Zelda.

Most def. the PS, N64 and Gamboy Color combination. It was Spyro, Crash & Marvel vs Capcom on the PS, Mario Party, Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie on N64 and Pokemon Yello for Gamboy Color.

PS1 and crash bandicoot about 10 years ago. We also had symphony of the night but that game scared me and I always died at/right after the first boss fight... (not dracula).

My parents had an Atari 2600, I played River Raid for hours. Then came Adventure, and all of the sub-par sports games (but they were sports dang it!) that you could imagine.

So between that and a stand up Pac-Man game and a cocktail table Galga game at the local pizza place we went to, that's where my love for gaming started.

Basically my entrance into really caring about video games started when my parents bought me a Super Nintendo back when I was maybe 5 or 6. The first video game I really ever played was probably Donkey Kong Country. I would sit for hours and hours just engrossed in it. From there, I moved on to games like Super Mario World, F-Zero, Super Mario All-Stars, and Tetris Attack. I wasn't really old enough to appreciate the RPG's for that system, but I did play alot of Zelda: Majora's Mask for the Nintendo 64 a few years later. From there, I been playing ever since.

I had an Atari VCS. Had a few great games on it. River raid and Pitfall were the best.

My love with video games started with the NES and Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy

For me it was the Legend of Zelda A Link To the Past for the SNES that originally got me into gaming. Add to that Clayfighters.

I enjoyed those games, but I feel that the Sega Genesis took it to the next level in terms of my interest in gaming.

My first was the Playstation and that's what got me into gaming (though I played my neighbor's N64 for about a year). I decided I wanted a Playstation instead and my first game was Spyro the Dragon.

The system that actually got me full force into gaming was the PS1.

The game...probably FFIX.

Sega Genesis and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.gameguy6700

Exactly the same here. I got a Genesis in '96, when they were growing a bit long in the tooth but still had tons of games available. I think mine was in a bundle with 2 controllers and Aladdin. I remember renting Mortal Kombat and other games from BlockBuster. I only had it a couple years and then wouldn't own another console 'til 2006.

My first system was the 64..

i played OOT, Super Mario 64, Wave race, Bajo Kazooie and Makio Kart 64 at first.

OOT was what made me go "YAY" every time i played. (Remember, i was about 4 back then)

My mom bought me a Sega Mastersystem with Double Dragon. I remember my dad hooking it up and he had to 'test' it, and I didn't get to play for a couple of hours. Finally when I got my chance, I was hooked. I use to play that game repeatedly and beat it multiple times a day. It's still the best version of Double Dragon out there, and that's the game/console that got me hooked. LONG LIVE THE SEGA MASTERSYSTEM!!!!
