What game should be remade?

Ok so what is the one game you would have remade and what system(s) would it be for? Also, would it be just for better graphics,for add-ons, online capability, etc.

For me... I think I am going to go for FF7 on PS3 graphics with redone voice acting and an arena like online deal where teams could face off and there would be a scoreboard of some sort for most wins and other tallies.

all my fave series have modern counterparts so theres no need

Well, the first one that comes to mind is "The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time". Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the original, and there's nothing wrong with it. I'd just like to see them update the graphics & textures, and bring it up to the graphical standards of at least a Gamecube game.....In saying that, I don't want any changes to the gameplay or any added content. I want the original game, just prettied up.

I'd like to see another Streets of Rage game with Axel, Blaze, Max and Adam it must have music by Yuzo Koshiro I doubt anyone would create a better soundtrack then his.

Donkey kong could do with an update!

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time should be remade with the Twilight Princess engine, for the Wii I guess. I wish Metal Gear Solid would have been remade with the attributes and ambition of Resident Evil for the Game Cube, but Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was still good. Maybe a Super Mario 64 remake with the Super Mario Galaxy engine would be neat.

Many, including partially myself, consider Metal Gear Solid for the Sony Playstation to be more of a remake of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake from the original MSX2. It would be really interesting if that were true.

Tales of the Abyss sould be remade for the PS3 using the same, or an upgraded version of the game engine used in Tales of Vesperia.

Tony Hawk's Underground should be remade for the PS3 and 360 using the same game engine used in Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.

Flashback and Out Of This World!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to play these two like crazy and they were more advanced than some of the other games at the time.I think that if some one put forth a good effort these two could turn into some great games now.

Still if they remade them I would want them to add more stuff and redo it all in glorious 3-D!!!!!

LOL!!! I remember that monster and I agree with you.Daggerfall was far more epic and just plain bigger than morrowind or oblivion.Still Morrowind is my favorite game in the series!

If they remade daggerfall though it might not be any more!

Super Mario 64 with FULL Galaxy graphics. I know Galaxy 2 has a few portions of SM64 redone. I'm iffy on if Ocarina of Time could use a graphical remix. Super Metroid, although Other M seems to be heavily inspired by it.

i dont want the formula messed up if that what you meant but id like to see a revival of top gear in itsoriginal form on the wii

I'm going to say none.

Remakes usually fail to capture what made the original great in the first place, and they take a lot of resources.

That time, money and energy would be better spent on making a new game.

Chrono Trigger would be amazing to have remade, but I'd rather see a new game in the series. There isn't really much to work with, but it would be very interesting to see what could come of it.

I generally don't like remakes (few exceptions) and I cant think of one atm

Like everyone else said, Earthbound would be awesome. I would also like to see Legend of Dragoon remade or atleast a sequel.
