lets see i started playing FFXI about jan16 2005 and stoped in feb31 2008 and i put in about 560 full days on that game sold my char in march and bought a 360 and that got the RROD in 5 days
Without a doubt Civ 3 and 4 (including expansions and mods). The "one turn more"-syndrome just kicks in and eats away your time. There's no other game I've spend so much time with!
when i was a little kid (talking from around age 5-10) i used to play games soooooo much it was unbelievable. pokemon, fifa, toy story 2, tetris, crash bandicoot, street fighter 2. ahh they were the good old days. probably pokemon red as one single game but definitely fifa as a series as ive played every one for hundreds of hours from 1998 and still to this day on fifa 09.
Monster Hunter Freedom 2 has taken a good 150 hours from my life.
What game have you spent the most time playing, and how many hours of you're life (roughly) did it take from you? :)

well I used toplay NBA2K online alot...at least 2-3 hrs. a night during the work week (on average)...and a good 5-8 hrs.on weekends I had nothing going on...and I played all year till the next years game came out...I'm not very good at math, but I think that's a lot of hours....other 'regular' singleplayer games...probably Fallout 3 at around 200+ hrs...and Oblivion about the same amount I think..
From what I can prove. (Xfire) I have a couple hundred in CS 1.6, WoW, CSS, BF2, HL2. I know I put up quite a few hours into GT3/4, and Forza. Oblivion is up there as well.
I've put about 500 hours into Oblivion over the various consoles and PC. Most of the time I just wandered the countryside collecting plants, I found it very relaxing and therapeutic.
