Ghostbusters is looking better and better everyday thanks to the current technology so what other 80's franchises would benefit from today's consoles? I think a first person Rambo would be great with incredible graphics and stealth elements. Also Friday the 13th could be a great horror game.

Aliens, which thankfully is being made and hopefully will do the movie justice, and the original Terminator. Cameron RULES.

OH yeah. Breakfast Club. Big Trouble in Little China.

Both would be awesome in a game on next gen consoles8)

I'm thinking The Shining or My Bloody Valentine would make Horror-Survival games.

Back to the Future (I know there were a few sucky action games made of the series, but there should have been a point-&-click adventure game instead).

Anyone remember an old movie called "Band of the Hand"? It was about these gang members and out of control kids who instead of going to prison ended up going to survival bootcamp in the Florida Everglades and being trained to fight drug dealers by some ex-marine. That would make an interesting game imo.

I think it would make a great open world game. Drive around in the Deloreon or on your hover Board. Get into fights with Biffs future grandson and his gang. And dont forget about the QTE's involving riding alongside Younger Biffs car as you try and retrieve the sports trivia guide. Totally Radical!

Oh and My pick for 80's game would be Repo Man. The flying car segments would rule!

Raiders, Aliens, Revenge of the Nerds, Back to the Future, The Last Dragon, The Goonies (something closer to the movie than The Goonies II game), Romancing the Stone, Lethal Weapon, Pee Wee's Big Adventure (lol), Space Balls, The Running Man, and also do an updated Robocop game.

I'd play all those.

Blade Runner Red Dawn Aliens Not 80s, but I'd love if we could see games for some of those big budget blockbuster action movies we saw in the 90s, stuff like Face/Off, The Rock, Con-Air, Broken Arrow, etc.

This. I think that the template for your modern action/FPS game is basically Commando. The story is horrible and only exists so that there is a reason for you to change locations. You're basically a one man army who is seems to never get injured... or injured enough to actually affect your performance. Someone said the Breakfast Club. I'm pretty sure thats a joke, but what type of game would that be? Like some sort of slice-of-lice, real time (8 hours) Sam & Max style adventure game, except serious is tone. Could be cool I suppose. Would probably do way better on the Wii or PC than other consoles though.

A couple Arnie flicks.

Commando. Need I say more. Also I should probably see that movie again cause I need some one liners.

The other movie is where Arnold is part of a game show where he and a few others keep fighting these weird bosses. Somebody knows what I'm talking about.

Nightmare On Elm Street. Yeah I know there's that crappy NES version that's already been made but I want a gameplay system similar to that of Eternal Darkness. Pretty In Pink would also make a good romance-based game as well. Hey, I'd buy it. ^_^

That'd be The Running Man :) That's one of my picks too. MadWorld's game show theme is similar to The Running Man, but I still think it'd be cool to see a game based off the movie

Two more awesome and creepy movies:

The Lost Boys and The House on Sorority Row

and a third not the movie just the title.

Cemetery Girls? ha ha ha No movie was ever made by that title these three went by the title at some time or other.

Dracula's Last Great Love, Vampire Hookers, and The Velvet Vampire.

I love the name and it could make a cool game especially if it had nothing to do with any of those lame movies.

Speaking of arnold films ( at least I think you guys were) how about that Predator movie? I think it could translate pretty well into a game. maybe even have like a 4way co-op mode.
