um n64 brought more 3d games to the table thank you ,, oh also there is snes games that do look like n64 games,,,
ill list ones ive played
starfox
stunt race fx
dirt trax fx
jurassic park
, in fact if it were to go a little longer, nintendo would have released mario 64 on snes , using the super fx chip
and ps1 is only a 32 bit system not that much improvment over snes, thats why he compared the two n64 was the most powerful console at that time up until 1998 when dreamcast came along , so ya saying ps1 brought 3d games before any one else did is total bs,
stunt race fx was released in 1994 starfox i think 1993 as was dirt trax fx could be earlier , but ya, ps1 didnt hit markets until 1995 so thats well after stunt race fx ,, that was the first 3d game i played, oh and play no fear racing it looked similar to n64 versions of nascar
so you under estimating snes now, and i proved that already
never under estimate any consoles power just because it claims to be 16 bit doesnt mean it cant be better
as seen with snes
ps1 really didnt have many good 3d games, spyro and crash was all it had aside from the 2 driver games, the rest looked like beefed up saturn games, 32 bits isnt nothing compared to 64 ,, its been seen in many multiplatform games that ps1 lacked the power, as a result games like duke nukem total meltdown(available on pcs as duke nukem 3d and on n64 as duke nukem 64) looked inferior to it ,,
and hexen 64 also looked supierer then ps1 version as well as the world is not enough 007 , the only real good 3d games on ps1 are driver , spyro or crash everything else is done better on other consoles , oh and gran turismo , but in no way did ps1 invent 3d gaming
