You will spent muuuch hours with Dragon Quest III trust me and with other good games on the GBC and GB.
That's still not a bad deal, but too bad you didn't find an SP, then you would at least have a backlight and GBA, GBC, and GB games to choose from.
If you haven't already, definitely pick up Wario Land 3, one of my favorite platformers ever. And also get Mario Tennis and Super Mario Bros Deluxe, those are great too.
That's worth it for the Gameboy sound alone. I swear that all the emulated VC versions and whatnot, do not properly emulate the Gameboy sound. Heirren
Truly! Game Boy is my favorite system for sound (w/ headphones in). There is just an extra warm, cheesy crunch to it or something.

I know exactly what you mean. Something you just have to experience yourself to feel the satisfaction. That low-dub-bit-music fits the gameplay perfectly.Or he could just get a couple of LEDs, pop it open, and give it a backlight. It's pretty easy, really.
Gameboy Color was the Nintendo handheld that was a long time coming. 1989-1998 was a long time to wait. A really good find that you have managed to get a hold of. I have a purple GBC. There are lots of worthy games to collect for Gameboy color
good for you.
