Went to an Anime Convention last weekend and they had a stall on Retro games and in the sale were Gameboys, I would have bought a Gameboy Advance SP but they didn't have any ine. But did however picked up a Gameboy Colour for £5 and picked up Dragon Warrior III (GBC) for £2, which comes to my totally of £7 and yes I didn't own a Gameboy when I was younger. But quite a few of my friends were pleased and ket saying very Retro of you, when I bought it during the convention.

That's not bad just for Dragon Warrior III.

That's worth it for the Gameboy sound alone. I swear that all the emulated VC versions and whatnot, do not properly emulate the Gameboy sound. I was thinking about picking one up just to play through the Zelda games.

That's still not a bad deal, but too bad you didn't find an SP, then you would at least have a backlight and GBA, GBC, and GB games to choose from.

If you haven't already, definitely pick up Wario Land 3, one of my favorite platformers ever. And also get Mario Tennis and Super Mario Bros Deluxe, those are great too.

Great deal man! I own two GBC and wouldn't sell them for anything.

If I could find a modded GB-Color with a frontlit screen, I'd buy one now.

Truly! Game Boy is my favorite system for sound (w/ headphones in). There is just an extra warm, cheesy crunch to it or something.

I know exactly what you mean. Something you just have to experience yourself to feel the satisfaction. That low-dub-bit-music fits the gameplay perfectly.

That's cool. I used to love my aqua-blue Gameboy Color when I had it. I use to play Legend of Zelda-Oracle of Ages/Seasons & the older Pokemon games a lot on my GBC until the day I gave it to one of the younger kids on my bus.

Or he could just get a couple of LEDs, pop it open, and give it a backlight. It's pretty easy, really.

Gameboy Color was the Nintendo handheld that was a long time coming. 1989-1998 was a long time to wait. A really good find that you have managed to get a hold of. I have a purple GBC. There are lots of worthy games to collect for Gameboy color

good for you.

Yeah, there were a lot of great games that came out for the Gameboy Color. I had fun playing with the GBC.
