I've surfed the net looking upon many sites about the force unleashed for ps2. I've read it's fairly good if you're a fan (which i am) but is more impressive on ps3 and 360 (which i don't have) Im considering getting it but i looked on EB games and it's 69 dollars. But they're currently on a sale and now its 47 bucks.

Should i get it?

i was in the same position as you, the game is quite good if you are a fan but not as good as the next gen versions. But it was fun and is worth 47$

I have it for PS3, it's a definite buy if you are a Star Wars fan.

The PS2 version is still a pretty good game but it is designed a little different. For one, the character animations are really different. The 360/PS3 versions he holds the lightsaber in a way where he holds the saber upside down and when he runs, the beam is right behind his back. In the PS2, for some odd reason he runs with it right side up awkwardly(check youtube videos if you want to see). Some of the levels are designed differently but it's fairly the same progression and story.

shame, although i did look at the wii duel mode and it looked SO bad, i can stand a certain limit of bad graphics but that scared me from EVER considering getting a wii

Sadly yes, the level design and setup is very different, graphics are also very different and other perks in the game like a stormtrooper grabing a object while being lifted into the air and not here. But it is still a good game otherwise.

The PS3 and 360 versions are the only versions worth bothering with. The Wii, PS2 and PSP ports were all pretty gimped.
