Yes, I know for a few years everyone seemed to jump on the "I'm sick of WWII games" bandwagon, and for good reason, they were pumped out at an extreamly fast rate. But after some time without any, one does start to miss that era. Has anyone heard of any upcomming WWII games, besides Operation Darkness which I think looks extreamly rediculous.

I've always enjoyed WWII games, I just like the timeframe I guess. :P

With Call of Duty going to modern warfare....I'm kinda lost as to what WWII game to look forward too. COD was the series I always played for WWII FPS gaming.

According to wiki and GameSpot, no. Wiki even says it will include aliens.

There seems to be no need to make another game within that timeline of history.

BIA:HH im looking forward to

WW2 games are awesome, and i still think they should be made in the future, because 1) i think its important that we are reminded what those people did for our countries and 2) you can actually learn quite a bit from them.

I just hope that they dont stop making them as i dont really like Modern warefare that much and i dont like Futuristic warefare at all (shooting people with lazers wheres the fun in that? lol)

Alright. Then tell me what you have learned about the 2nd world war by playing WWII video games.

Am I the only one who has a problem with WW1and WW2 games (and any game depicting an actual, recent war)? Is there not something sick about recreating something this horrible for entertainment? I'd be pretty deeply offended if I was a veteran. Also WW1 seems worse than WW2 for me. When you look at some of the poetry and artwork of that and think of someone making a videogame of that does it not make you feel ill?

all entertainment, even comedy, comes from tragedy.

i dunno, its pretty much the same weapons just a little less developed, but there would be a large amount of mustard gas spraying.
