Yea, GotY material right here. Damn if the game ends up actually looking this good I'm in Heaven. Can't wait.

The Batsuit looks so futuristic and cool. And that dude with the gun at the end... woah he looked really strong. I think Batman's head got blown off in the end :'( RIP bats
That being said, this isn't much gameplay. The purpose of the trailer, I think, is to show off the graphics engine. We've seen a few bits and pieces of gameplay, such as Batman riding the Batmobile or when he's throwing a Batarang, stuff like that. We probably won't see anymore until E3 (or they'll probably rehash the trailer, similar to what Square Enix did last year with FFXV).
Small segments in that trailer were actual gameplay footage and it looked phenomenal both graphically and gameplay wise.

I don't see how you can say it looks phenomenal gameplay wise when there's not a single gameplay clip in that trailer that lasts longer than a split second.

I agree, if you played the Arkham games it is known to have a crazy camera and close ups when you approach someone for a conversation. I know it wasn't a full on "player perspective" camera but the angles and movements indicated that this was all real in-game rendering and gameplay...that being said if there isn't a downgrade I might be happy to lay down 400$+ dollars to get on board next-gen.

Game is too early in development for it be final gameplay. It is probably vertical slices. Just a guess a though.
I'm not impressed. Looks kind of blah imo. 2 second bits of gameplay with 98% in game cutscenes does not count as a 'gameplay trailer'.
Wow. That trailer looked freakin' amazing. I'm very much looking forward to this game. It's Rocksteady so they already have my money.

Did you not see that few seconds long gameplay segment of you driving the batmobile upside down in that tunnel? Looks fuckin' amazing.
The Arkham Knight villain is interesting, like to see what they do with that character.
Tbh i'm a little bit worried about him ....
Could you explain why? Cause I find him an interesting for the soul reason he is so mysterious. No one knows who he is, where he came from, or how he is going to shape story. But we do know, is that his goal is to kill The Batman. Also he looks badass in his suit.

Yeah you're right , my statement wasn't much of a rational one , it's just a feeling u know it looks like an alien type of thing and i kinda feel like it's not a match for the atmosphere... , in Rocksteady we trust and i hope they pull it off!
I'm baffled by the thinking of game journalists, especially Carolyn Petit. I was watching the Gamespot Rewind trailer and when the subject of the Arkham Knight came up, she believes, in her heart of hearts, that Joker isn't dead and that he's going to be the Arkham Knight.
And yet, Rocksteady, as far as I've seen, have stated plenty of times that Joker is dead and that he's not coming back. I honestly doubt that the Joker can do anything that the Arkham Knight is capable of. I think people need to get over the fact that he's dead and accept it completely, because he's not in the game. It's not like Rocksteady hired Mark Hamil and had him do any of the Joker's lines, all in secret, and then waited for the big reveal and said "Hey, look gamers, he's not dead at all. FOOLED YA!"
If anything, I can totally see legit references or mentions of Joker through Harley Quinn, who holds a powerful grudge on Batman after the events of Arkham City, so I can totally see that happening. That's one thing, but to say that Joker isn't dead and that he's the Arkham Knight? Don't jump to conclusions!
And for the record, I have NO CLUE on as to who is the Arkham Knight. He's like what some of you described him to be; mysterious and out to kill Batman for his own reasons. I honestly doubt it's the Joker. I doubt it.
@mjorh: Arkham Knight will probably be Damien Wayne from the future...or maybe Jean-Paul Valley the first Arazel...idk just a hunch.
Gameplay my ass. Stop being such suckers. It's all cutscenes. Obviously. Won't look that good, won't even play anything like what's shown.
Batmobile in the tunnel? Batman shooting out of the Batmobile and gliding? Even if the below is not gameplay (and by the perspective it doesn't look to be, unless a short cutscene triggers when ejecting), the thing that is obvious is that it is in-engine.
