Multiplayer game of the year?

Ok, so we had a huge amount of great games this year, with even more to come out in the coming months. What do you think is going to be the multiplayer game of the year? The are too many canidates to list!

My pick - Unreal Tounament 3

Halo3 sold a zillion copies so I don't see how they wouldn't win this. I personaly would pick Gears of War(PC). Maybe COD4 has a chance, have heard nothing but high praises about it.

But a sizeable demo is, and when it comes to a multi-player focused game, it's a good indication of how the game is going to turn out. General map design, weapon and vehicle balance, game types, character and weapon models; am I leaving anything out that can give us a good indication of how the final version will turn out? Maybe you can tell me what revolution will be in the final realease besides more maps and models that will make it play significantly different.
