Most Memorable gaming moment?

What's your most memorable gaming moment?

Mine is probably when I was playing Halo 2 it was a multiple team match and we were down 4 kills about to lose, then I saw three different guys fighting each other really close I threw a grenade and killed 3 of them then shot the other one. I was so surprised that we won that online match.

• The first time I encountered a Crimson Head zombie in REmake (GC).

- Getting past that stupid barrel on Carnival Night inSonic 3

The twist in KOTOR, I never saw it coming and it had my jaw on the floor. Perhaps walking out into Waukeen's Promenade for the first time in Baldurs Gate II; just beautiful. The attack on the training school in Final Fantasy VIII also stands out.

However for pure adrenaline fueled gaming moments there have been a few moments playing Counter Strike where everything just clicks, you know? Suddenly every shot you take is lethal, everyone else seems to be moving at half your speed, you throw down empty guns picking new ones up to get another headshot because reloading will take that half second too long........I've had a few of those where I've just been left with my heart pumping, shaking and almost in shock....good times! =D

Goldeneye 007: Waking up early on X-Mas, randomly selecting the right gift, and playing the game. Plus, countless times playing it with friends.

Metal Gear Solid: The first time I actually cared about the story in a video game.

Battlefield 1942: My friend and I being snipers and trying to kill one another amongst a huge war.

Halo: Combat Evolved:Just pure fun.

FFIII: finding out there was an entire dark world to explore after thinking it was the end of the game.

OoT: gaining Epona for the first time and having access to the field.

Company of Heroes: ummm.....the entire thing?

GTA3: first time playing it.

Guitar Hero: beating hard difficulty.

Thief - Dark Project: You get your eye gouged out and are left for dead to feed the Trickster lords precious plants.

Planescape Torment: The ending... wow! What a story!

- Running smack dab into the first goomba on the first level of the first Super Mario game after I finally, finally got the big kids to let me have a shot. Blast!

- At three years of age, playing Pac-Man with my dad on one of the old-fashioned sit-down cabinets.

- Playing SFII on the SNES all day, every day for god knows how long, then having my friend tell me during a match, "oh my god, dude, you got really good."

- "Get ready. Here they come!" The first mission of Gears of War on my 48" TV, loud as hell, with four of my buds hangin' out with me. What a breakthrough game.

- Going against three opponents in an online ranked match with a partner that didn't even know how to grenade tag, then leading him and me to victory. Headshots.

- Ganon being a freakin' ninja on Windwaker.

- Stabbing said ninja between the eyes with the Master Sword.

- Trying to manipulate a glitch in Pokemon Gold to duplicate a held item, and accidentally erasing my six best critters. I wanted to cry.

- Ikaruga

- Realizing even I could love RPGs, thanks to Golden Sun and its sequel.

-Nailing my first premeditated A-Groove custom combo with Ken in Capcom vs. SNK 2 against one of my friends, and my living room absolutely exploding into applause.

- 8-hour CvS2 session with those buddies, that same night. Miss ya, fellas.

- Beating Bark at the Moon on Expert, and feeling like a bona-fide legend.

- Beating Jordan on Expert, throwing my guitar against the couch, screaming, and... *faints*

Listening to final fantasy in game soundtracks for the first time.

Playing mario 64 in full 3d for the first time.

harpooning an opponent/freezing opponents with either scorpion or sub-zero for the first time. and the second......and performing MK fatalities.

playing baldur's gate and any other of D&D computer generated RPG.

experiencing all of ID's great shooters. especially doom 3.

rescuing the little sisters from thier possesion. and recieving the "THANK YOU MISTER" response.

utilizing strange and wicked weapons of destruction in shooters. like turok or halo's.

Finishing ratchet and clank 3 for the 5th time and not being bored

when you finally put liquid down for good in mgs1 and coming back to vf4 then finding i thrashed the one i deemed "impossible" 1st time!

- Playing FFVII for the 1st time.

- The end of KH2

- The end of Hugo Ch.1 in Suikoden III - Hooked me from then on.

- Beating FFX. Felt like a huge game to me.

- Beating Tales of Symphonia - Loved that game

I guess for me though, my most memorable gaming moment would have to be online in CS. So many good times with friends. But one time, Me and my friend logged into a server late and by the time we spawned our whole team was dead and they were pretty much at our spawn point, all we had was deagle's, we had no time to really think, but we played well together and we ended up taking out the whole other team. That moment right there is probably one of the most memerable for me.

Making the hood fly off a car then getting run over by it in GTA Vice City

Taking so long to build my army in Battle Realms that my ally did all the work

killing 100 mechs in Mechassault's Grinder mode.

Final Fantasy 1 - You get the rat tail in Bahamut's castle and all of the people in your party get promoted to larger, cooler versions of themselves

First time I heard real voice audio come out of a video game. Turbographix CD with Cosmic Adventure

The first summon spell in the Final Fantasy series ("what does this spell do? WHOA!")

The end of Might and Magic for the NES... after beating it you actually got a code to send into the company and you get a certificateof completion (still on my wall)

Beating the Alien Battleship in the original Escape Velocity

Taking my first landed UFO Battleship in X-Com

Beating Civilization 1 for the first time as Ghandi by World Conquest

Doing a sideways carrier landing at maximum speed in F-15 Strike Eagle II

Playing Donkey Kong Country for the first time

Swimming to the southernmost island in the entirity of World of Warcraft. There is a bottle that opens to give you a note that says "What the h*** are you doing here?"

Killing a level 60 rogue with my level 57 warlock in World of Warcraft and then promptly getting one shotted by one of the invisible wolves in the Hinterlands.

Beating Kingdom Hearts at 100%

Warp Jumping in EVE Online for the first time

Discovering 3 and a half months in, that World of Warcraft had a "autorun" function...

Firing my first Redeemer in Unreal Tournament 2004...way way too close to my face.

Completing Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and realizing that it was all as it was.

Encountering the first of the Many in System Shock 2

Playing Master of Orion 3 and realizing what a disappointment it was, then finding Galactic Civilizations

Completing Weapon Master Mode in Soul Calibur 2
Every second spent playing Pokemon Blue, Yellow and Silver
Beating Ninja Turtles 4 Turtles in Time (SNES) on Hard Mode

First chainsaw and grenade melee in Gears of war.

Marching 10 Eldar warith lords accompied by an avatar against a Person who only thought to build Infantry units in DOW: Dark Crusade.... SO MANY BODIES!

My First Big Daddy in Bioshock (HOLY CRAP)

My First big ass armored thing in FEAR (Forget the name of them for the life of me)

Every time you see Alma..... I always shoot at her, every time even though she can't be shot at.......

Finding the infinite item glitch in Pokemon Blue and Red (The only REAL ones) I must have been 9 years old, wow that was a long time ago.

First time I heard the screams of soldiers in C&C tiberium sun, (Those haunted me for years)

Sooo many more.....

I'm going to go with..

* Back in the day, when spoilers weren't really an issue..when magazines kept their spoilers to themselves..when the net wasn't really around :P...sitting..playing FFVII..and seeing Sephiroth stabbing, and killing Aeris..I remeber thinking clearly "wait..WHAT?! she can't be dead...nahhh..she'll be back...won't she? :'(" sniff......

-playing a NES soccer game(dont remember the name)with my dad,he won 10 -9 ,that fact that he didnt let me win

-watching the credits in vice city ,I was into the storyline so much .

-driving in the desert in SA ,listening to free bird! or welcome to the jungle! awesome.
