do you remember when you were on that online match and you got on a 1 on 1 gunfight and you just needed 1 more bullet to get your kill and then BOOM! you notice you have to reload which ends up in you getting killed or the other guy getting away

It's normally the last bullet that get's the guy for me. If I'm sniping normally I would reload manually so there's no worry.

Ditto. Whenever there is downtime, I reload unless I intend to empty the full clip at someone. Either they are dead or I screwed up at that point.

Baur in 2142.

Just killed 1-2 guys, walk a bit away from the heat of battle, just about to reload and here comes some guy trying to be sneaky around the corner. :|

I don't think I've had it. I'munbelievably anal concerning reloading. If I'm not shooting something, I'm constantly hitting the reload button.

All the time in Battlefield 1943. Either that, or I get a kill, reload, and an enemy walks in front of me while I'm reloading... :x

That happens whenever the score is practically tied and need one more kill, I fight the person, about to kill them then it happens, I lose the game for my team, crap...

I love coming up on people who just killed something and are stuck in a reload animation.

Way too often :P

Though it's not too much of a problem in TF2 I guess. Not for me at least, but other games like Halo, Counterstrike, Unreal Tournament, oh yeah. Big time "Dead man's clip" if that's what you want to call it :)

It's happened a few times so i make sure to reload if i have less than half a clip. Usually you'll die before you even run out of clips so whatever, if not i switch to knife and try to get people like that.

I have reload OCD even if I've shot off 5 bullets in a 100 bullet clip I have to reload. What happens more often for me is when I'm reloading said 100 bullet clip and a guy turn the corner and pops me, I feel like an idiot and ashamed at my reload compulsion...I need help guys. seriously.

Several times. MAN, it's annoying. Switching weapons is of course faster but it still takes a short moment of you gunning so I always end up getting slaughtered.

It usually doesn't happen to me, unless I'm shooting multiple people at the same time - but when that happens I just switch to my pistol.

I barely use guns, i sneak around and use my melee weapons. I only use guns as a last resort in multiplayer matches

Here's my story of how I overcame "dead man's clip". Yesterday I was playing Metal Gear Online in a shotties and pistols only game. I was on the roof of UU, aiming at a kid below. After killing him, i look at the ladder to see someone I had killed earlier coming onto the roof, probably for vengeance haha. I let a shot go which brought him to half health only to realize I had "dead man's clip". With no nades, I drew my pistol thinking I wouldn't win this one. Two well placed shots later I was at a quarter health and he was dead on the ground. Couldn't believe I won and I was so pumped that I sniped a kid with my pistol on the other roof haha. A good day indeed.

I manually reload a lot. The only time when it happens, well for example, I'm playing Halo 3 Team Slayer, I scrap a kill, turn with no time to reload, and try to kill someone, end up with one bullet less than I need.
