Sort of. Gears of War, solo, on insane. I beat it on the other two difficulties but could not take down Raam on the hardest. A lot of my frustration was due to AI Dom, who would pretty constantly charge right into the middle of the train car and get mowed down in an instant. If he could have served as some sort of distraction for more than two seconds the actual battle would have been a lot less frustrating.
nope. i got frustrated in the first modern warfare on veteran but i stuck through it, especially the second part of Chernobyl when you gotta wait for the chopper.
Midnight Club: LA. The only reason I didn't beat the game was because I rented it. It was frustrating nonetheless, and being offline didn't help either.
Street Fighter IV. I never beat any story mode except for Dhalsim's. I used to be such a pro with the retro Street Fighter games, but I don't know what happened :(
Demons Soul (**** you final boss!) Ninja Gaiden 2 (**** you, burn in hell and die in a fire final boss!) Metroid Prime (**** you Ripley!) Those are pretty much the only ones I can think of from this gen and last.
I loved the Ninja Gaiden games but hated them at the same time. They were so freaking hard and nothing is worse that fighting repeated bosses and cheap enemies over and over again. If they fix the difficulty of future titles I will buy it again, if not I don't care. Nothing worse that a game that makes you swear every 10 seconds. Thats not fun, thats called fustration.

Really? You couldn't beat Seth even on the easiest setting? You should get Super SFIV and play it on the most easiest setting. Seriously, Seth doesn't even block and he let's you hit him.

Yeah, I'm currently playing Prototype got quite far into it & getting so annoyed with it it's unreal. So don't know if I'll be able to finish it xD

Same, I got so frustrated at Prototype towards the end but managed to finish it, never been so happy to finish a game in my life :| lol Right now its Street Fighter IV for me, I'm awful.
Back to the Future for NES. Yes, that one. The cafe stage was so irritating with the bad perspective that I never got past it. Nonetheless, at the time, I felt obligated to keep on trying just because it was unfinished, but failed every time.
If it was a game I wanted to play... then no. If its a crappy game like... Golden Axe Beast Rider, then yes.
No wait... I take that back. I quit the story mode of Little Big Planet. That stupid level where you are on the bouncing trampoline things where if you miss you fall into spikes. The ground keeps moving when I bounce, the best way I can describe it is like jumping on the trampoline with a 2nd person. I could never jump just right to make it over. After about an hour of trying I'm like @$#% this, I give up. Part of the reason I hate platformers in general.
None that I can remember.If I don't finish a game its because I don't find it to be good not because its too hard. I never beat Batman for NES but I never got frustrated with it.
I cannot for the life of me complete an Advance Wars game. I tried AW on the GBA and got completely stuck around about mission seven or eight. I bought AW on the DS a few years later, wondering if anything had changed and the exact same thing happened again (I've since sold both in anger). It seems impossible to defeat an enemy that keeps replenishing its units. Both times it was a mission where you have to capture their base. It was just constant stalemate. I may just be useless at real-time strategy games, but I love (and can complete) Fire Emblem games, which is pretty much the same thing.
In the last chapter, I beat 3 very tough bosses, I thought that's it, I can relax to see the credit rolling but no I was forced to face more bosses and I didnt have any health potions left. It's not challenging but it's cheap IMO. There are too many boss fights in the last chapter but the game give you no health. That's unfair.In other games like Ninja Gaiden Black, NG II they're difficult but they gave you enough health to beat the last bosses.

Ha, i had the same trouble and i don't think i'll ever be able to finish it, unless i played it co-op.
Most tower defense games (except South Park "Go Go" online with others). I always seem to get to level in the last third that I cannot find the right strategy for. I hate to give up on stuff but to me there is a limit for how long I'm willing to keep at something with no reward.
