Basically, I want to get some form of Gameboy Advance so that I can play Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games again...

I can get gameboy advances cheap, but SPs cost more. However, I remember them having a lighter screen?

Any recomendations on which is better?

Thanks

SPs have a back light to them, fold, and have a built in battery. GBAs don't. That's about it.

GBA: SP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GBA

Seriously. You've got rechargeable batteries, a backlit screen, smaller form, and clamshell design for incredible durability. It's no contest between an SP and normal GBA

Definately go with a GBA SP. Backlit and clamshell design makes it much better.
