This is the second topic you've made making an unnecessary comparison to The Last of Us. Granted, Fallout 4 does have an apocalyptic setting like The Last of Us does, but even then the games aren't all that comparative. But I don't feel like explaining again why a certain game shouldn't be compared to The Last of Us.
That depends on alot of factors, story, gameplay, voice acting, character evolvement, graphics, framerate, animations, soundtrack, replay value etc.. it's also two different genres which makes it harder to compare. I love the atmosphere in both games though which is kinda similar.

Pretty much this. The two games are so wildly different that it would be difficult to compare. Will Fallout 4 have as deeply emotional and resonant a story as TLoU? Probably not but that's not what that series has traditionally gone for. TLoU in a lot of ways plays more like a JRPG from a story perspective (fixed characters that are written into the narrative as well as any tv show or movie, linear progression, etc) whereas the Fallout series has always been about character customization and open world exploration, which often comes at the expense of a really tight narrative.
That said, we don't need a different thread every individual game/book/whatever to TLoU and you have created several already. Thanks.
Fallout 4 by a land slide. Hell, I spent more time on Fallout 3 than I did with The Last Of Us. TLOU is a great first time experience, but once you beat it a few times, it's pretty much over unless you're a trophy whore or a fan of the multiplayer. Fallout 4 may put a hold on your social life for a while, lol.
I think fallout will be a better game, simply because it has deeper game mechanics and is generally more gameplay oriented rather than going for a cinematic experience. They're on opposite ends of the spectrum in many ways and they complement each other rather substitute, so picking one over the other seems pointless.
The Last of Us was a great game but for me it will not be even close. Even comparing FO3 to TLoU, I played TLoU for about 15 hours or however long it took me to play through the whole game and never looked back. FO3 I played for hundreds of hours and played through the entire game 3 times. Also FO3 was a game I wanted to get all the achievements but I did not even try with TLoU, if I got trophies great but I never went out of my way to get them.
Even though I don't like games with guns, but...to pathetic console kids out there - games like FALLOUT 4 / The Elder Scrolls and many more...will always win - because of the superior version on PC and the most 'important' because of the MODS. (and LOL at Xbone mod support announcement, what are they gonna do?! lol - create HALO 5 900p Superior Rock Textures pack running at 10fps LOL - what a buncha pathetic idiots).
