So I have $80 and I was thinking about getting a new game. I can't seem to pick between Far cry 4 and Dying light. So any suggestions?

(I enjoyed far cry 3 and dead island)

Hmmm...FarCry 4 is more of the same as FarCry 3 (that's not a bad thing). Dying Light is basically Dead Island with parkour and better design or whatever.

Flip a coin?

If you have 80$ why not get both and a 3rd game as well.

There are plenty of sites out there if you look around where you can get both for under 50$

yes on consoles. He can get Far Cry 4 on Glyde.com in excellent condition for $30, and Dying Light for $60. That's just an extra ten bucks for both games.

So that's not $80 for both.

Far Cry 4 $37.61

Dying Light $61.11

Real total $98.72

Also one of them is pre owned.

The big difference is the setting. FC4 is more nature and DL is urban. FC4 will give you more variety with vehicles, choppers, gliders, wingsuits etc.. DL will have more violence and gore though. The games are quite different.

I played both Dying Light and Far Cry 4. I like Dying Light more. It makes better use of its open world while I'll ay Far Cry 4 got a bit hurt by it.

@thehig1: There's nothing wrong with pre-owned when you can inspect the product before paying for it.

I'd go with Dying Light having played both. Far Cry 4 is basically Far Cry 3's gameplay with a less interesting story so in essence it's a slightly worse version of Far Cry 3 whereas Dying Light is an improved version of Dead Island with a much more interesting setting and characters plus improved/new gameplay mechanics. Both are good games, but I got bored of Far Cry 4 pretty quickly.

didn't say there was, but new would be preferable.

My original "Not on consoles" post is still accurate, you get get both these games for $80 or less new or pre owned.

It can be done on PC, albeit using key resellers seems fair as you used pre owned games.

Don't know why you're boasting about cheap prices of PC games when the initial hardware purchase negates those potential savings.

Yeah, but not everyone only buys a PC to play games so it's not an apples to apples comparison. The more expensive PC serves many, many other functions.

Yeah FC4 is a huge game and there is a ton of stuff to do in the game and it's my favourite game of 2014.
