Devil May Cry 4 - Fatal Error

While playing from time to time i get the following fatal error and then game crash :D3DERR_DRIVERINTERNALERROR:present_result

any ideas how to fix it?

Hi,

I have a big problem with my game and I cant play , when i'm starting the game this message appear :

FATAL ERROR E_outofmemory : mpd3d -> create device(md3dadapter,md3dddevicetype , imain > mhwmd, d3dcreate_hardware_vertexprocessing [d3dcreate_multithread] getcaps() puredevice? d3dcreate_puredevice :0) &d3dpp, & mpd3dddevice

I dont know what is it mean ...

Don't play it. Game sucks. You replay all the levels with Dante again. like, WTF!!!!!

Nonsense. The game is worth the price of admission for the Bloody Palace alone. Yes, the backtracking sucks, but the game makes up for it in other areas.

As for the thread creator, I wish I could help you -- I don't play PC games. This is one of the reasons why.

It sounds to me like it's a DirectX issue. Try reinstalling DirectX. Also, check for any patches that might be available.

who knows what that means? Only the programmers themselves would know.

But considering it says outofmemory, you might want to try few things.

First check for spyware that might be hogging your rams. Same goes with virus.

Check if you have sufficient ram.

check if you have enough hard drive space.

check how many programs you are running and close programs that will take large amount of memory.
