I have a three way tie 1.Call of duty big red one when vic dies. 2.COD4 when the missles go up. 3. COD4 the whole ending (i kinda didnt like that you were the only one alive)
Ok, cheats do not count. By coolest part I mean: The coolest single part of a game. Levels, cutscenes, parts of level, bosses, ex. Those all count. But cheats do not count.
The first time you get to swing a lightsaber in KOTOR. When kefka threw emperor gehstahl over the edge in FFVI. Also when psycho mantis read your memory card in metal gear.
One time when I was playing Jak II I was being chased by guards on hoverbikes. There was a hoverbike in front of me and one behind me. I take a hard left turn into another area. The two guards try to follow me and when they turn behind me they run into each other and their bikes blow up.

I played it like 100 times, then I relized that it was the same old thing, and I found something else to intertain me. Like watching Legget die over and over in brothers in Arms.
So many to choose from... this is not an easy question.
The first time you fight Bowser in Super Mario Galaxy immediately comes to mind. His character model is rendered magnificently, its some of the best use of visual design of any game I've ever played. The opera music that plays made me grin from ear to ear... not very many games make me do that.
No More Heroes, pretty much any cutscene that involves one of the assassin's getting killed. They're all unoriginal and not that great-looking, but they made me giddy for some reason :D
