well deserved!

though it's even more important that Capcom's original games on the Wii do well, so we see more of them. What a great company.

Correction: ships over a million copies. ;)

Still it is good news, hopefully Capcom will bring more quality and in-depth titles to the Wii in the future. It would be great to see an original Resi game on Wii that is not UC.

Yeah, it's good that a "hardcore" sells this much on the Wii and it bodes well for the future. On the other hand, if there wasn't a dearth of similar games, I don't think that it would do a dent sales-wise.

I want to see actual sales data rather than shipping data, but if Capcom's pleased about this, it's a good thing. It shows that there's a viable market for traditional games on the Wii, although I bought it because this was the "true" director's cut... extra content + best graphics. The $30 didn't hurt, certainly.

Even though that's shipped numbers, I'm glad nonetheless.

Excellent news. Combined shipments for the three console versions of Resident Evil 4 are close to 5,000,000 units now.

Everyone that bought it is awesome. RE4 is now somewhere in the 4 million copies sold worldwide mark, thats around the number it should have.dvader654

Although it's good news I really wonder how many GC/PS2 owners purchased this title, because I'm one of them and I expect the majority here are as well...

Awesome news for an awesome game. Maybe they'll throw in an hour of real RE gameplay at the end of Umbrella Chronicles now, just as a way of celebrating. Or maybe not. I can hope at least.

If you have a Wii, even if you have played thorugh this game on another system, you really must buy and play Wii RE4. It is a gaming experience that comes along once every 15 years or so.
