Can you play MKX without beating the tutorial?

I am planning to buy MKX today for PS4. The reason for this is, that I want to play with my gf and maybe sometimes single fights or story mode. I was wondering, is it possible to go through these without completing the tutorial? I read that it is pretty hard to beat, that's why I am asking.

Oh yes you can definitely do that as long as if its just you and your girlfriend....

Theres just two things though:

1) I'm not sure MKX is the right game for casual play.... I would reccomend one of The Naruto Games instead of Mortal Kombat.

And 2) If you ever intend to play online then be sure to complete the tutorial first.

Still though... MKX Is a good game either way....

Even at easy mode I'm sure it will require you some practice. Especially the end boss.

Maybe Youtube have some nice video for MK rookie.
