How different is Dirt 3 from 2?

Dirt 3 is pretty good

For me it has to be Gran turismo 3 on the ps2. So many memories.

PC only? My favorite racing games are on Nintendo consoles. Mario Kart double dash is probably my favorite racing game of all time. It's kind of a party game though.

My favorite true skill racing game would have to be excitebots on the wii.

I think the only racing game I really enjoyed was one of the ridge racer games for the PS1 (cant remember which number). I'm more into arcade racers not simulations

Forza 4 is probably my favorite racer

Any best racing game list must have Burnout 3 on it.

This. Only I'd say Horizon and Forza 5 are just as much fun, albeit for different reasons.

The old Collin McRae Rally series was really good too. Specifically 3 and up, but they were all fun.

Horizon is fun, but in a different way. But it has fewer cars and it is shorter unfortunately. Got the limited edition of Horizon and the Collector Edition for Forza 4. So i love the series, but i can't justify 1000 bucks to get the X1 where i live

It makes me so happy when someone else acknowledges the greatness of Excitebots. Though, my all-time favorite racer would have to be F-Zero GX.

I'd have to say Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit on PC. It was amazing.

Forza 4 is a close second though.

Ever since Forza first came out it's stayed on the top of my favourite racing games list. I do really like most of the Ridge Racer games except for Unbounded, that one really disappointed me.

Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing will always be my favorite

Gran Turismo 3 for me, blew me away when I got in 2001 with my PS2. I really loved Burnout 3 though.

Forza 5 all the way

I love that you have Need For Speed: The Run on there. It's a much hated game, but I really enjoyed the sense of that cross-country-racing feel.

I also feel Need for Speed Underground 1 & 2 get's totally forgotten. My favorite arcade racers ever

RalliSport Challenge on the OG Xbox was my favorite racer of all time. Honorable mentions to the original NFS Underground, (stellar sense of speed) and Midnight Club 3: DUB edition.

Also what about MotorSport Pacific Rift and Burnout Paradise.

Those games are probably the most fun racing games I've played.

Do you mean Mostorstorm: Pacific Rift? If yes, then I totally agree with you. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and Motorstorm: Apocalypse are some of my favorite racing games EVER. Burntout Paradise is probably my favorite racing game of all time next to Star Wars Episode I: Racer.

So basically I like arcade and futuristic racers, save for precision racing, which is more like a sim.

Yeah... same here. Remember staying up late with my friends doing those big endurance races. Now that I look back on it I shake my head and think why... Lol. But it was great fun!

Come on Microsoft, put Sonic and All stars racing transformed in your ultimate game sale for $5-$10.

The games I enjoyed the most are NFS: Hot pursuit 2 and NFS: Underground 2. Burnout Paradise is another game I enjoyed very much.

I wish EA would make an Underground 3, but it seems that it is highly unlikely. :(
