I assume you mean Bad Company 2. It happens all the time, the servers suck. Just exit the game and try again or wait an ahour or two.
Whether it be Battlefield 2 or Bad Company 2, the answer is the same. The servers dont update very quickly. You might have to wait up to a day for your stats to be updated.
yes you have to wait for next update which i think will be not coming since the battlefield 3 is out.
