Anyone else found one before?? Its a nidoran... i wasnt sure so i caught it, but when i withdrew it and looked at the summary, theres this little yellow star in one of the boxes and when i send him into battle, it does this cool like shiney/stars thing.
woah lucky but i can 1up you on that, i wanted my stater charizard to be modest so i saved before i picked him and on like the 5th try he was yellow i wasnt sure either so i did the same thing you did and it turns out it was shiny i still have it and its a black charizard i cloned him though so i can trade on diamond and pearl, is yours a boy nidoran or girl
Hey man congratulations, I've never caught a shiny before except the famous Red Gyarados from Gold, Silver and Crystal. I have seen two before, a shiny Sentret (Crystal) and a Shiny Ryhorn (Fire Red) but on both occasions I had 1 or none Pokeballs, so I guess my luck ran out, eh?
I didn't even know shiny pokemon were common or existent. I had a Shining Gyarados before(forgot which version). What is special about shining pokemon? Just that they look different or their status are stronger?
I got two shinys within a week of getting FireRed :) I got a shiny Metapod on the first day above Nugget Bridge, and a week later to the day I got a gold Parasect in Cerulean Cave.
Once in Ruby/Sapphire (cant remember exactly which game) I found a shiny Tropius but I had absolutely no pokeballs. So I just battled it, made it faint, saved my game, turned off my GBA, went into a corner, and started weeping.:cry:
JK!!!!!!!!!!! I would never become that desperate over a pokemon even though it is my ffavorite game series.
Uhhhhhh too soem of the peopel who think they hot a red Gyrados in Crysta; G/S, yaaaaaaaaa its always red, its meant to be red, part of the story line, sorry to rain on ure parades. Iv never seen one on my game,butIn crystal I found this wierd blocky thing that was all black and white and was makeing a wierid noise. it had no stats or anything. when I tried to catch it, my game messed up. I turned it off and on and it was fine. never saw it again.
i have two shinies on left green mageton who shines when hes go's into battle and black golduck, i havent seen any on ruby ,on gold ive got shiny red gyardos (everyone must have this) and a weezing and a magmar that shine in battle .

wow this kid is such a liar first off shiny golduck is blue and pink not black, and in the other topic he said he had a heracross that knew frenzy plant so either your a hacker or someone who uses action replay or your just a liar ao please let me know which one of the three you are
I actually found a shiny pichufrom a egg in emerald. In my ruby version a found a shiny zandoose at the gym number 5 and a shiny espeon in the battle tower on leaf green version.
