Their incessant, innocent stare stabs through opponents, pushing them over the brink of despair." I remember fond memories of tonberrys anybody have any?> I remember in ffx they would slowly creep towards me and cast that stupid karma spell.. lol in ff7 they could kill you with one hit from that knife! In crisis core you may go tonberry hunting!

The 2nd Gunner's Gauntlet in Besaid Temple from FFX-2 will always haunt me cuz of the relentless Tonberry assault at the end. They literally spawn out of the wall.

They are not always bad. In Type 0 Kurasame uses a pet Toneberry in battle

Yeah.. I also never knew about Odin till she told me. Same with the place you get Bahamut and Eden at. I know them now though. Check out this toneberry :

I couldn't kill them in VI, I wouldn't let them kill me in VII, and I would always flee from them in VII & IX. Tonberrys aren't my favorite enemies.

FFVII Tonberries are sources of the mighty Ribbon accessory. My strategy: 4x-Cut with Yuffies Conformer, then Morph also using Yuffie. Voila! Easy Ribbon, without the berry counterattacking you.

I like the conflicting feelings that come from encountering them on your first playthrough of a new FF. You can't help but be excited to see a familiar face, but at the same time, you have to know that face means trouble. In FFXIII, they gave me a really hard time at first.

I've only fought them in XIII and I can say that I found that fight to be a really pain in the butt. They just stab you and you're dead.

They were not too hard in FFVIII...just took a little while to kill. You almost had to kill toneberrys in this one though.

He'd never have to but he probably would. Also having him confined like that instead of having a more open area for him to play could be a sign of cruelty or neglect;)
