Maximo, Jak and Sly are all good buys. I've started looking for the Jak games and the Sly games for myself.

Jak III is an enjoyable game. I popped in all of these yesterday to play for 10 or so minutes each. Killzone was suprisingly good, I was amazed at the graphics for a PS2 title. Sly came off as the most impressive game though, fun controls and oodles of stlye -- they have the after-school cartoon theme down stone cold. Maximo was also good. As you can tell I caught up on some seminal titles for the console yesterday, and I'm glad I did.

Hellfire - genesis - $5 (great sysmic shooter, too bad the company died, because they made great games.)

I wish there were a Comp USA inside a 90-minute driving radius. I picked up a few things today.

1. Castle of Dragon, NES, v. fine, cart only, $4.95
2. AD&D: Iron & Blood, Warriors of Ravenloft, PS1, n. mint, complete, $8.95 (an upgrade copy)
3. Tekken 5 Ultimate Collectors Edition (the Hori Arcade Stick package), PS2, new/sealed, $29.99

Sounds good, just so you know though, they are two different games, different music -- it's a full sequel -- so if you realy enjoyed the original on the Dreamcast, you might consider picking up a copy you can play. I liked the style and music, but as for gameplay I was completely hopeless, I was endlessly running into walls.

I already have, but I'm going back for the other one :wink: this afternoon, and I'll keep it sealed for the moment. The stick is great and about 8 pounds. I went to a CompUSA over the Christmas break, and bought numerous good deals. They put games on clearance often, it seems.

Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller, 3DO, new/sealed, $13.51 shipped.

Another delivery came just after sending my last post.

A boxed, JVC X'Eye, with the original packing materials, pack-in games and hardware (X'Eye, re-marked controller, RF switch and AC adaptor). The pack-in discs are:
1. Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia
2. Prize Fighter
3. JVC CD+G Karaoke Top Hit Sampler
All discs have the original packaging and documentation. The deck is a little dusty, and I didn't get the original manual, but I did get a supplement to it (?!) regarding the A/V out as well as the warranty card. Included in the lot was a Naki porgrammable controller for either Genesis or SNES, and the following Sega CD games:

4. AH-3 ThunderStrike, nm, complete
5. Bill Walsh College Football, new/sealed
6. Bram Stoker's Dracula, v. fine, complete
7. Double Switch, n. mint, complete with foam block
8. Eternal Champions: Challenge From the Dark Side, broken case, complete
9. Mortal Kombat, n. mint, complete with foam block
10. NHL '94, new/sealed
11. Night Trap, v. fine, original double jewel case, no box or manual
12. Prize Fighter (again), pinhole through disc 2 data, complete
13. Sonic CD with a different paint job than retail, n. mint, disc only.

All of this was $130 shipped.

I picked up Tekken 5 Ultimate Collectors Edition #2, and the outer box is in n. mint condition, unlike the shelf-worn one from yesterday. To think, those sneaky guys from Gamestop gave me the ugly one yesterday...(j/k, Sam). I am probably going to hold on to both. I doubt that I will have need of a second PS2 arcade stick, but you hear stories about those impromptu money games of Soul Calibur 3 all the time. :roll:

I also traded in my worse copy of AD&D Iron and Blood, Warriors of Ravenloft. No one needs two copies of that stinker. I used to be a big Ravenloft fan and it has sentimental value, otherwise I wouldn't have it either.

Panzer Dragoon, SAT, mint, complete
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, mint, complete
Panzer Dragoon Saga, mint, complete...all 3 for $167 shipped

On eBay this afternoon, there's a copy of Saga alone that is already over $185. I got very lucky.

Some nice ones in there, especially Link to the Past. How's the X-Men game?

I'll let you know -- the Zelda is a dupe for me -- I'm was most interested in the Secret of Evermore and Mario Kart, the former a Square game and the latter what had been a nasty ommision to me collection. I have the non-licensed Ken Griffey game, so stoked about getting the MLB licensed one. I generally have not enjoyed the Marvel games that I have.
