Try using a GIF, JPG, or PNG file, the three most commonly supported types. Also, it may take uploading it a few times to get it to work. If all else fails, host your image at imageshack or photobucket and insert the URL into the long text input field rather than the short one for each image type.
try using this way. host your pic on imageshack.com and copy the url that they give u. then go to your prefs and paste the url above/below the place where u browse your pics. click aplly changes after that.
