I did a ton of votes prior to logging in. Then I logged in, and it was still showing my votes. I figured it was no biggie so I just continued to vote and when all was said and done I didn't get the emblem. Don't know if there is a delay, or it isn't possible to get credit because I wasn't logged in. It's all quite strange.
Yup same problem, but the Most Anticipated Games poll wont even load the page when i click the category it just brings me back to GS homepage. But yeah i have same voting problem only i dont get logged out
thought my votes went through but never got the emblem so not sure now after so many peeps reporting probs.
If I may ask, what browser are you using, and what are your cookie settings?
This is why I ask. I cast my votes on Firefox. When I return to the Best of E3 ballot using Firefox, it remembers my votes. When I used Internet Explorer today, it had no knowledge of my votes, and was ready for me to cast my votes again.
I don't have an explanation, but it may help in diagnosing the problem.
I am using opera, also tried chrome. It's kinda annoying, I am able to vote for all, it goes through but when I navigate back, it completely forgets about it. My votes are only remembered from the first category to before best puzzle game. From that point on, all my votes are forgotten. If I may ask, what browser are you using, and what are your cookie settings?

Sorry Woonsa, I don't know what to tell you. I've never used Opera, and I haven't used Chrome since it's release (there have been many improvements since).
To me, it doesn't seem like a browser or cookie issue. I would think that it would remember all or none of your votes. The fact that it remembers some of them makes it seem like the trouble may be on the Gamespot end. I could be wrong. But it would be nice if one of their mods would check out this thread.
Once again, sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck!
After voting, the vote section will fade slightly and then entire page reloads with the ability to vote again. VixDiesel
This^ only happens to me in the "best shooter" category. Everything else is working fine.
I`m using Firefox 3.6 btw..
This has been happening to me too. I've been checking every now and then and it's still doing it.some categories remember my votes and others don't. using firefox. anyone know how to fix this?

When I first voted, I went through every category, and every category seemed to work and register except the Wii - that kept refreshing without accepting my vote. The next day I went back and was able to cast my vote for Wii, but then I noticed a few other categories didn't have my vote, so I recast them. Then I checked again a few days later, and then again just now...there are still some categories that don't seem to be sticking.
[QUOTE="harry_james_pot"]I voted twice in every category, and it got reset again.. :|scorch-62You have got to be kidding me. I'm not voting for a THIRD time. :| It's really annoying.. :| But probably after the voting is over, Jody will make a thread for the people who voted and didn't get the emblem..
From what we can tell from when this happened before, your vote is counting the first time, it's just not setting a cookie, or a cookie has been cleared - this cookie is what tells GS to either show the results table, or show you the voting options. Your vote is still in the database regardless of whether the cookie is set or not.
So, there's probably nothing to actually be worrying about.
Same. But it doesn't log me out, it just doesn't accept my votes.woonsaSame here, I hope it gives me the emblem!
