video uploading errors (and an older video comment issue still unattended to)

firstly, i'm trying to upload a video and i keep getting an error message back:

Your video was not encoded because our video processor was unable to read the picture data. Try encoding in a different format and uploading again.

now before you go and assume it was the video i already successfully uploaded a video with the identical encoding (and its an MPG btw). Not to mention that the encoding window for the entry doesnt even show up (it usually does on a legitimate failed encode).

also, for a very long time now the video comments havent updated right, it still doesnt show when there is a new comment posted like with other things, and it really should since it was useful to see if it was a new one or an already read one, no one has responded to this issue as of yet even though i've posted about it before.

ok now it says the encode succeeded but the video is not popping up in my videos section just like before when it claimed to have a failed. So i guess tghe problem, while altered is still there.

oh, and the comment issue has still been unadressed.
