it means that there's a html 'span' tag with the attribute 'id' in it in your message, i find it tends to occur when you copy&paste from certain things/places - what you need to do is click on the html source button (it looks something like this: ) and remove those particular html tags and for future reference; this belongs in welcome newbies really
