hello, just a quick suggestion, ive allways thought it would be a good idea to have a rough estimation of how long it takes to complete a game, on the summary page for each game.
any chance of that being added?
thanks, leezee

just to clarify. in the gamespot review box for each game, i would like to see an ETC bracket (ETC = Estimated Time of Completion)
eg. difficulty: medium
learning curve: about 1 hour
ETC: 6-8 hours
This would give users an idea of how long the MAIN SINGLEPLAYER game will take to complete.
continues next post >>>>>>
i would also like to see an ETC+ bracket to estimate how much playtime can be achieved from the main singleplayer mode + any extras in a game.
eg. difficulty: medium
learning curve: about 1 hour
ETC: 6 - 8 hours
ETC+: 10 - 14 hours
I dont think i can make it any clearer, so i shall let you decide what is best.
(agree with me or die! mwahahaha! :P :D )
If you are interested in buying a game it is best to read the full written review anyway so it shouldn't be a matter of searching through a review to get to something in particular but rather read the whole thing to find out everything about the game you are interested in.usually, but not allways.
plus it can be a real pain searching through a 2 page review just to read one line of it.

yes, that is also true. But with some games, eg superman returns, R6 vegas, gears of war, i already know i want to buy it, i just dont know if im gonna get my moneys worth when i do.
i often read full reviews but it would be good to just have a quick reference for the times when im lacking time and patience. i can only assume that my response has been so negative because all the people who would agree with me are off doing something more important with their time lol. :P
I think that is a great idea. I understand your post and I had that idea too but didn't post it.hello, just a quick suggestion, ive allways thought it would be a good idea to have a rough estimation of how long it takes to complete a game, on the summary page for each game.

^^^woo hoo! thanks, thats one point to leeze!leezeebubMake that two points. Reviews are written after the reviewer has finished the game, yes? It shouldn't be that hard to provide an estimation, and it's quite useful. One of the main criteria influencing which games I buy is the length.
