Image viewer resizing images

So I noticed something funny with the recent 4k GTA V images. They're actually 720p. It seems the Gamespot image viewer resizes the images and then blows them up to fill the browser.

If you right click on the thumbnails it gives you the full 4k size.

@DigitalDame: Any chance you could tell the editors to upload stuff without the image viewer or use an external image host in the meantime? You can embed imgur slideshows.

@pongley: I know there is an image gallery tool in the works. I'll see what I can get done.
