CNET, owners of GameSpot, already have a website for FAQ's (GameFAQs) so I highly doubt that will happen.

Also make the gamespot leveling system useful who ever gets to a level 100 ! Should get to be a admin or on a list to when you are old enough.ct1257860

The highest lvl on GS, if I remember correctly, is 63 and he has been here for a while. Say a user does reach lvl 100, that does not meen they would be any good at running any part of a website at all. This will NEVER happen IMHO.

A users lvl is just that, a lvl. It gets you no special treatment now, and it should never get you special treatment.

That statement right there is completely wrong and unfair IMHO, GameSpot is a very useful website.

While I can not speak for other users, I would have to say that if GS was not useful it would not have as many active users as it does.

We should also have a forum where we can post video game ideas and then if a developer likes it emails them. And can give a beginning scrpit likes it it countinous from there.ct1257860

While this would be a rather neat idea, it would require way to much coordination between game developers & GS. I see all kinds of legal problems just getting it up and running, let alone with plagorisim claims and who knows what else once it is up.

I don't think I like one single idea proposed. And proposing to get moderation power for being a high level would cause problems and lead to a person abusing those powers and causing havoc here on GameSpot. Agreb91

I kind of agree with the level 100 thing, it would be literally impossible to achieve so if someone loved this place so much, maybe they should have moderating powerDouglasBuffone

Aren't you only able to post user videos after a certain level (10 or so?)... That is, only if you have a basic account.
