my blog has over 50 comments, but i can't access the second page using that "1,2" button feature (i can only view 50 messages per page)

You should see the number links "1 and 2" so that is odd. Usually the only time you can't when there is 51 comments.

Please tell me if you can see the "1,2" links now, because you may be able to after other comments have been added.
