Any changes recently that might cause... I dunno... massive lag spikes!?!?!?!

I'm posting on gamespot as I do commonly (big shocker) and I suddenly notice just to quote a guy, it's five minutes of waiting just to quote. Now I ain't an idiot. First thought I went through all the standerd stuff, spyware cleaning and such, but the lag keeps coming. More so problematic is the fact that this happens on multiple computers, and not for any other site.

I've commonly posted here in the past and while your site leaves a lot to be desired in the way of user friendly-ness and optimisation, it's never been this bad...

Only lag I personally experience is when making a new post, and that is the fault of the new editor GS implemented. Beyond that I personally experience no lag, more then usual that is, from the site.

Oh I just remembered the but that is jumping the page to the top as well recently.

The lag with the new editor seems to be smaller

 Make sure you don't quote a ton of people, and don't quote pictures
