Not sure where to ask this,but do any of you know if something happens if you start the game on your birthday?I mean move in on your birthday.

Asking since I'm thinking about waiting for that day.I know a birthday thing happens,but i'm afraid of the event thing not happening.Although just a mention of it would be good :P

Completed my first puplic works project in New Leaf yesterday, the Cobblestone Bridge.

I wasn't paying attention when I first started the game and ended up with a pretty meh village layout with a bridge all the way at the bottom of the map :P. But now I have one through the middle of the map so I can get around easier.

CcJj09 you can demolish the Bridge if you wanna replace it but it will cost you another 298k

I think I'll just keep it :P.

Also is there a way to influence the weather? I swear its been raining in my town for like the past few days!

Oh well :/ It rained in my town today. :P 

It been raining off and on plus stormy in my town :P

Today was the worse day I have ever had in Animal Crossing.

It was all going well until I closed my gates after my friend visited.After that,I sold plenty of things in my storage,started and paid off donations for a bench,watered all my flowers,and visited the island and made over 100k in a trip as alway's.

What happened?Gladys had a flea on her,so I captured it as I alway's do.Then I released it near a pond,ultimately,that caused my Villager to get stuck,and I had no way to get out of the inventory screen,so I had no choice to reset.

Then it just got worse.I had to do the above things again,but then when I was on the island the game crashed on me,which is apparently a pretty common glitch on the island..

So I had to repeat the above pattern a third time,this time saving before the island in case something happens again.Thankfully,nothing bad happened,but so much time felt wasted...

I really hope I don't have an awful Animal Crossing day like this again.

So do you all tend to try and pay off your house first, or work on public works projects?

I usually like to keep it pretty balanced. After I pay off a new expansion on my house then I will work on a new project.

I am trying to get my house paid off still i am still working on the 298k payoff Dorthie2 already got all her Nook Pay offs done Lucky lol

hey JP I prefer paid my entire house off so i can save my bells :P

then HHA rep. came and ask me to do a theme challenge so I said yes.

I picked Harmonious (Chinese and Japanese type theme)

the results I got over 300,000 HHA points and rewarded Golden Roof :P
