Very fun game with lovable characters but suffers from a ridiculous plot. Is this FE worth your money?

User Rating: 8.5 | Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn WII
I'd definitely say this game was worth my 40 bucks. I'm a huge fan of the Fire Emblem franchise and this game did not disappoint me. There was a great variety in stages, characters, and difficulties. I enjoyed this game a lot. It was very addicting despite the plot.

For first timers, FE is a turn-based strategy RPG game. I've heard friends claim that FE resembles FF Tactics and Advanced Wars.

Here are my opinions divided into sections:
Characters: I loved some of the characters...and also hated a handful too. There are enough characters for you to find favorites and enough room to toss the useless people.

Difficulty: A little on the tough side compared to other FE games I've played. Even on easy mode, some stages were a little frustrating. However, after you figure out which characters to use and abuse, the game just turns into a killing spree in your favor. Normal and Hard difficulty levels are a bit time-consuming.

Music: I can always rely on FE to play some nice tunes. And Radiant Dawn did not let me down.

Plot: One of the biggest downfalls in this game would be this crazy plot...starting at Part 3; it is quite complicated and a little corny. Nevertheless, the plot didn't actually bother me too much.

Graphics: Not a big improvement from the GC version, but good enough for me. I see some improvement here.

If players liked/loved the GC version (Path of Radiance), I recommend playing the Wii game. Even if a player has never touched FE before, Radiant Dawn is a decent game to try for a first timer. (By the way, I really believe this game was a lot better than the Shadow Dragon for DS.)

I hope this review helped :)

P.S. Looking up Hidden Items in this game will really help!
