Final Fantasy does not cease to amaze

Final Fantasy VIII takes off about the same way as any of the other Final Fantasies, but offers improved grahics from the beloved FF VII, as well as sound. Though the story to FF VIII is a little dry at a few points it still delivers and makes any Final Fantasy fan wanting more. The game just like FF VII is filled with many fun mini games, the most notable one is the ingeneous and addicting card game. Though I have to say I did enjoy FF VII much more... there is just something about FF VIII that is lacking to have made it as great. The magic system is a little messed up and hard to get the hang of and can get frustrating at times as well. The love plot behind it all is a little to strong at times.. all in all the game is great any Final Fantasy fan will be frothing from the mouth as they play this vibrant installment of the Final Fantasy series.
