Solid performance, however feels somewhat generic by today's standards, dated and without substantial improvement.

User Rating: 7.5 | Final Fantasy IV Advance GBA
Final Fantasy IV is a solid port of the original Final Fantasy II to the GBA. While it feels kind of average among some of the latest RPGs and in particular other Final Fantasy games.

Gameplay: Good RPG turn-based battle system with a real time element making sure you're always on guard and alert. While this occasionally problems and is a little buggy and feels unfinished its pretty solid and for the most part is good fun. This makes up the bulk of the gameplay.
8/10

Graphics: Good Visuals ensure its fair share of eye candy. But some Graphics especially with some of the spells look lazy ie: Meteor the big daddy of the Black magic looks a like more of a sprinkle of fairy rocks and doesn't look like it deserves to deal 9999 damage.
7/10

Sound: One of the games strongpoints. Very enjoyable and catchy, namely the battle music is exceptionally good. Much like FF:1&2 but better!
9/10

Value: Little replay value and some slack presentation weighs this game down and feels too generic for several playthroughs or even long sessions of play. However the quest is slightly lengthy ensuring a good amount of time spent on a whole.
6/10

But FFIV is still a good game and any RPG/Final Fantasy fan needs to have a look at this as you can get a good 20 hours out of this game which is not bad at all.
