Another year another FIFA but now you can play it anywhere and playing BE A PRO and multiplayer ain't too shabby either!

The first FIFA game I bought was '08 for the PS3..Before then I was die hard PRO-Evolution Soccer man, going back to around 2003 on PS2! However, with the licences retained and the gameplay improving each year, FIFA has taken first place in my purchases of football titles since 2008. So it's goodbye to Manchester Red for now! As for FIFA 09 on PSP, after a couple of games you get used to the different controls to the PS3 version (no R2 or L2) and the drastic decrease in graphics from PS3 to PSP can a bit of a shock at first (it's better if you play it looking vertically up the field to see the awesome stadiums) however, treating it as a portable version, it does very well. The fact you cannot cross from near the corner flags on a counter attack with certain players can be a bit of a pain, but making free kicks, transferring players, taking penalties and most importantly, scoring goals, all feels great! Playing it on the hardest level I got real fist pumping satifaction from scoring goals in a cup battle against a quality side. The Manager's Mode is addictive and Be-A-Pro is a quality add on. In sum, if you're looking for a good sports game on your PSP, you won't go too far wrong with FIFA 09!
