If you call it an expansion, it's just as bad as the original Instincts, if you call it a sequel, it's straight up bad.

Recently, the Far Cry franchise took a bad turn after only 1 game. The original PC version of the game astounded all. Then Ubisoft Montreal produced Far Cry Instincts which was shorter than the original, had more linear levels, had extremely weak AI, and added a side effect of the main character becoming a beast and making the game 34x more easier. Far Cry Instincts Evolution (Lengthy name?) is the sequel to Far Cry Instincts! Which only came out a few months ago. If you ask me, Instincts Evolution is more of an expansion than a sequel. It clocks in at maybe 4 or 5 hours in length, with the same graphics engine as before, and pretty much same everything. This time the story is a lot worse. You are still in the tropics, not having a way back home. You stop at a cafe' and approach a beautiful woman. She lets you in on a heist she has to pull off. Something interesting that was added to the expansion (or sequel) is that now the enemies have the feral abilities you do, but I disliked these abilities from the beginning, making them bad to me. The voice acting has only gotten worse for Jack Carver. Honest to god my friend. There are a few added weapons here and there. Like a machete that doesn't in anyway resemble the original's, but is an alright possession. There isn't much more to say about Far Cry Instincts Evolution. The game is simply 4 more hours of boring gameplay that the original offered.
