Far Cry Instincts Evolution is probably one of the most funnest games i ever played. First off: Single Player. The single player is very solid the story is kinda the same compared to the normal Instincts but has it's differences. For example, in Instincts, you are stuck on an island and have to find a way to get off, and the same in Evolution, but in Evolution you are hunted for a murder you didn't commit and in Instincts you are and given some sort of serum that brings out the animal in humans. A sort of enhancement of your sight, stamina and strength. Of course in Evolution you have all those abilities like feral vision which allows you to smell prey from far, feral speed and feral jump, those allow you to run really fast and leap great distances in the air, and feral attack allows you to melee enemies to a considerable height in the air. In Evolution you have 2 added weapons in the game, molotov cocktails and pipe bombs which, i find, are pretty good additions if you're into traps. The multiplayer is also very amusing. there are a variety of entertaining gametypes such as steal the sample, which is basically capture the flag, chaos , a free for all firefight, predator, which makes 2 teams the mercenaries and the predators and the object of the game is to either take out the mercenaries, if you're a predator, and, if your a merc, you must find a base and control it for 40 seconds and seek and secure, basically you have to control bases for a certain amount of time to beat the opposing team.
There are a few bugs in the game like when you reload you can shoot while reloading, even when the clip is out. And some of the spawning in single player for the enemies are a bit awkward (Not a bug).
The map editor is phenomenal and is probably the best of any other Xbox game.
So overall, Evolution is a game worth buying and if not then at least rent it. It's a game not worth missing.
