Hard fired FPS RPG !
Being a fan of Tom Clancy games, RB6 and Ghost Recon I noticed the same sort of engine being implimented, with a heavy emphasis on tactics over enemies, plans and plots and more so on conserving ammunition.
The enemies can be quite tricky, and their AI will act in a way that will suprise you, but ultimately if you are prepared will not offer much more than AI does. They will not coordinate attacks or create advanced intelligence ambushes or home in on your weaknesses. This of course is left to multiplayer on LIVE, which offers a wide range of maps, some experimental some just plain old school.
I enjoyed Far Cry 2 because of its Depth and Roleplaying core elements. Fishing out a weak character and turning him into some kind of jungle hitman, which is exactly what he was supposed to be. Drifting off a little I think this is good for Roleplay games, too many decisions on what you choose and what points you have to boost has all too much lead to Power gaming and not Role Playing. This is for hardcore Roleplayers alike.
