This is the game im talking about when i say that these kids today will love anything.

So first off lemme say; i was one of the old fallout fans. I wasnt super hardcore but i did love the old game. It doesnt bother me that they made an fps out of the old tactical turn based system (altho the old system was tons better imo). But Fallout 3 is still for goobers.

Any fps that can pause, allow you to choose a exact target (like an eye or a hand etc) and shoot at that location with no effort on the players behalf whatsoever is just down right dumb.

I mean seriously, if you want to see this game, just watch it on youtube. All the guy playing the game has to do is pause whenever he encounters an enemy and hit the 'i win' v.a.t.s button, or run away until the vats ability recharges. Thats it throughout 100 percent of the game.

Half the stat increases in the game bump vats up even farther, so why bother playing? There is ZERO ability required to play this game. Just hit the retarded vats key and feel like you know what your doing.

So you just wont use this ability eh? Well almost every enemy is melee based and zig zags like crazy, then has to be shot in the eye, or the tooth or some other terribly small target. The game itself without vats is just plain tedious. It can be done, its just not that much fun at all.

alright so lets get into the game itself. You can run through this game in about 4 hours if you dont do the side quests, and the side quests are the exact same as every other game:

"help i have a cat stuck up in a tree, go save it' and rinse and repeat for every overly simplified mission. You can make the choice to be good or evil, but that consists of either just being rude, or being a goody two shoe sap.

Very little immersion takes place in this game, except for vainly raiding empty/abandoned areas in hopes of finding stuff that just isnt there, plus theres only about 2 towns that are worth visiting. The ending to this game is also a pathetic joke of an insult to teh series. The old games obviously took some thought and effort, and the ending here is static and predicable.

Everyone compares this to oblivion with guns, but i think oblivion was much better thought out and larger all around, even if i do like the leveling system better in this game (enemy npc's level with you, but the system has been smoothed out to feel more natural then the old Elder Scrolls broken system).
All in all i keep thinking they should have named this game anything but fallout 3, but even if they did, i think i would still be frustrated by the sheer lack of effort i feel the design team put into this game.
