Great additions to an already great game!

User Rating: 8 | Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack - The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage X360
These 2 add on games were just what I needed to start playing one of the best FPS RPG of all time.
Operation Anchorage was a little too short and easy for my taste but it got the job done and the rewards were great. You answer the radio signal call for help and in response you have to enter a virtual reality training where you have to stop the Chinese from invading Alaska and stealing the oil pipeline. The combat is not much different than any other mission but the landscape is new. Ammo and health are plenty and by the time you play this mission you will have mastered the game so there was no real challenge. The best part was afterwards when you stop the General and the training ends. Since passing the test opens the secret armory, the outcasts allow you to take what you want. Soon they argue among themselves and a fight breaks out where you can mop them up with your advanced weapons. This way you get to finish the mission and take ALL the rewards. Especially the T15 armor and helmet which never breaks down. With this new equipment, there was never a need to repair or take any other armor. Made things much easier for the rest of the game. Plus, tons of ammo and guns were in the armory for me to stock up.

The Pitt: Another call leads you to travel to Pittsburgh, now called The Pitt. Here you must infiltrate the slave camp in order to overthrow the slavers or not. As with most missions, you always have a choice to help the good or be evil. My choice was to overthrow the slavers because the rewards were better. But you start the mission with no weapons or armor, they are stripped away, and you have to make due with what you can find. Soon, after speaking with a few slaves and masters, the mission takes you into the Steel yard to find some Ignots. This is the meat of the mission as you will find better weapons and more combat. Work your way through the yard, fighting off Trogs and finding better equipment, until you can collect at least 10 Ignots (I got 50 before I returned to base, with 100 in total) For every 10 you collect, you are rewarded with better items. The next mission was the Arena, which for me was very easy because I had already found some strong weapons and grenades that I just threw all over the Arena pit. After 3 rounds, you win an audiance with Ashur, head of the Slavers. PLus, at this time you get all your original equipment back. So the game is much easier. I decided to kill Ashur and all his guards and freed the slaves as was rewarded with unlimited use of the Ammo press and a nice radiation reducing perk.

Overall the combat in both Games above was quick and easy. The Pitt was more involved mission wise, but both satisfied my Fallout urges and will do the same for you.
