Here I go again trying my best to review a game that is just a compilation of mini games. It's kind of hard to do so I guess I'll just grade them on one of the most important aspects and that is fun and originality. Fable 2 Pub Games is pretty original but a bit lacking in the fun department.

First what I like about this game is the fact that it feels like it should be a special feature more than anything else. I say that simply for the fact that you can unlock items and screen shots of the main game plus build up a reserve of gold all outside the confines of the Fable 2. Some of the items seem to be really useful so besides the currency motivation, there's also that added bonus of rare items.

The first game of the three offered on Pub Games is a card game with a simple premise. Fortune's Tower is a deck of cards numbered 1 – 7 with 4 hero cards. It's hard to say exactly how this game works but it is fun but hardly rewarding when it comes to stakes. It's honestly the safest way to amass a fortune without taking too much of a risk.

The next game is similar to craps and roulette called Keystone. Once again it would probably take five paragraphs to explain the ins and outs of this game but I'll simply sum it up by saying I suck at it. You can place chips on numerous squares indicating numbers 3 – 18, red or black, oval or diamond, pairs, trips or runs and things like that. Three dice are then rolled and I lost money because the number rolled seems to have all the things opposite of what I bet on. Of course this is a higher stakes game that requires a little knowledge of stakes but it seems like it would have a good payout if I didn't suck.

The last game is called Spinnerbox and is simply a slots type game. There are different boards set up matching 3 and up to I think about 6 icons with bonus variations of these game offering multipliers, free spins and things like that. This game relies purely on luck with no skill what so ever and ends up being the most boring game that can land you a huge jackpot if you like sitting around spamming the A button forever.

Lastly there are tournaments that are played against computer controlled people in each of these games. There's different buy in ranks and different prizes available for each of them.

The amount of game types that are offered in the three categories of games depends on the rating of your character and how much experience you've racked up playing that particular game. These unlock the different game boards or rules and also higher stakes.

That's about it. Pub Games is an interesting thing that supplements the upcoming Fable II but isn't very interesting by itself.
