Not bad, but it makes me wounder. How the heck did Formula One Championship Edition (PS3) get looked over years

Ill make it quick.

The answer is Yes! Yes its kind of arcade like compared to Formula One Championship Edition (yea a PS3 game know one seems to know about?)

Fun to play?: If you like sims yea, But its not really fully a sim. It feels a tad arcade like. And its not as sim as Formula One Championship Edition. But that was during the time in which everyone I guess was still stuck in the (dont play a PS3 game or my friend will beat me) days. So thus it got overlooked. But being somewhat arcade sometimes makes for more fun moments.

Physics: Iffy. Controls are solid. Some of the best 3rd person car physics I have seen in a simish racer. But I still rather play in the car, or from some sort of close view. But It feels pretty good to play. In some rare cases the car does not feel like its rolling a vary!! tight corner. You know the feeling like your pushing out but its still turning anyways, Instead of smoothly flowing around the corner, but thats vary rare.

Depth: vary good, tuns of ways to play this game. Full Sim for hardcore wheel owners, semi sim for us decent drivers with only a controller, or full assist so your kid can play. Or so some of these arcade only NFSU freaks can play (either or.)

Look: Looks vibrant and detailed. Although the frames and pure sharpness lack way behind (PS3) Formula One Championship Edition. It has more Glitz and Glam to it, for better or for worse. But the replays show that thier is a lot on screen, which causes just a touch of frame probs, and some odd blurs. Again Formula One Championship Edition replays are much easier to look at for a more clean easy to see TV like view, or see whats going on. Plus in that game you can change drivers and such in that replays. This games replays are more like a Hollywood movie type of thing, not so much a Seed TV racing event. BUT their still fun to look at, and you can watch a whole race. The gameplay look is pretty nice to look at. And even gives a few areas of aw.

When I say frames Their not bad really in this game. Their just not Formula One Championship Edition like smoothness. The game runs fine really. And believe me I hate frame drops and can see it in the slightest form. But is not that bad here, its just a compare thing.

Bugs: A few, but nothing I really noticed as much as some others did? I know I finished 3rd in one race I won, But I realized I was docked 10 seconds for tapping the back of a car. That was the reason, some may not see why. And the game does not really blare it out to you that you have been penalized or explain after. So it may confuse some.

This game is fun, I once said that to make a game feel like the real thing adrenalin wise, you have to exaggerate it to a point. And I think that's what they try to do here. The modes are pretty deep, the races are good once you get the balance of what is going on, and what setup works for you. And it works vary well as a whole. But im still just boggled that this game got so much attention when Formula One Championship Edition has been out for years and is just as amazing (if not more so for some) and it was so overlooked.

Its one of those your gonna have to try and decide for yourself. A lot of games give you a good idea if you should buy by doing deep DEEP! research, this is not one of those games. Its going to be looked at many different ways. And im not sure if any of them pin point what this game is all about.

And lets not forget GT5 3 weeks!!!!
