This game deserves 8.5 or 9.0 instead 7.5! If you played or owned F1 Championship Edition, then this is must-have game!

I'm quite disappointed with Gamespot's score. I believed this game deserves between 8.5 to 9.0. I owned F1 Championship Edition and it should end up with better score too. Compare other reviewer's scores. Their scores rated higher than 8.0. I don't know why Gamespot offered this such terrible score for this brilliant racing game.

F1 2010 seems very impressive. I like the way that the game used same menu system from GRID and DIRT 2.The graphics are excellent, but suffers with little bugs and glitches. The reflections of the car and mirror appeared slower compared to the actual speed of the car, but these weren't very noticeable and it doesn't effect the entire game-play. It would be wonderful if Codemasters plans to release the game update. The tracks look amazing and more lively compared to F1 Championship Edition. It will draw you into the atmosphere of formula one racing.

The sounds are surprisingly good and crisp. I really enjoyed hearing the engine screaming while braking, accelerating, and changing the gears.

The physics is quite brilliant. Let me tell you something's interesting about the physics. I drove several cars with no assists. I heard some people said having no assists doesn't affect the driving, and claimed it was very easy because the cars are easy to handle. I would say not all of the cars are that easy. One of them is Hispania Racing Team or HRT F110, it was very difficult to drive because it was very twitchy and I noticed the chassis of the car continued slamming on the ground implementing the loss of grip and handling. It was very challenging because I have to be very cautious, trying not to cause the car to spin off. If I would like to drive an easy car, then I would choose the higher rank team such as McLaren, Red Bull Racing, Ferrari, Renault, BMW Sauber, Williams F1, and Force India. I noticed that their cars are very smooth and less-intensive driving.

The controls are easy to use. It has two options. First two are preset 1 and 2, then last one is custom. Preset 1 has similar control layout from DIRT 2 and GRID. Preset 2 is strongly recommended for serious f1 gamers. I set at second preset because F1 Championship Edition have the same control layout. For some occasion, I used my Logitech Driving Force GT and it was very fun to play with. With my wheel, it gave me more control from the car than using my PS3 controller regularly.

The career mode is very flexible. I like the idea that the option allows you to restart any sessions and let you to take any break between sessions by going back to the paddock. Also, you can customize your difficulty before you start your sessions. My settings are set to expert, but customized with 4 flashbacks. Instant replay is useful in the races just in case if you're in accident or collusion with others, then you can rewind back in time. However, it was difficult to use by trying to regain the control of the car at the exact time.

The overall of F1 2010 are very excellent. I became addicted playing this game since the first day. I would never lay my hand off the game until I complete it. This is must-have game for all racing fans and die-hard F1 fans.
